  • Sorry to disagree, but the number of low gun AA shooters I've seen at a serious sporting clays shoot is none. As a side not, low gun is required in FITASC, optional in sporting clays.

  • I thought the idea was to get set and visualize where you will break the target, get positioned to do so, cock your upper body toward the trap, call for it with your stock in your arm pit, uncoil upper body while bird is in flight, establish point of impact, cross the line of flight and squeeze the trigger? IDK, different strokes for different folks! It don't matter as long as you are having fun!

  • Im not exactly sure what class he is in..either masters a, or aa but Doug Thompson shoots low gun and says he sees mostly low gun shooters...Im not saying there aren't any good pre mount shooters....when we went to the youth nationals at Sparta...there were maybe 15 teams that shot low gun

  • Not my video BUT I attend the shoots. Most serious competitors shoot low gun. My coach and cousin at 1:57 and my buddy with his brother at 2:15

  • Low gun optional?
