At 7:19 Its an A-7 corsair not an F-8

took a 24 degree roll on that piece of ship in 1988. That's huge for a carrier

Tim 87 to 89 and just for the record midway didn't have f-14's and probably some of the other big aircraft, to small a carrier to launch them.

Somebody needs to tell that pilot still sitting the cockpit of the RA-5 that its time to hang it up and retire already ! !

Really nice video. I served aboard Midway in '85 - '86 with VF-161. You labeled the A-7 and F-8 incorrectly, the first you featured was the F-8, the second the A-7. Very similar aircraft, but the F-8 has the pointy nose. Keep up the good work, again, nice video.

Thanks for your feedback. My bad about the confusion. I remember writing down the model of every plane I saw at the Midway but there were so many of them that I was bound to make a mistake.
I appreciate your comment. Visiting the museum was a blast for me.
