My autistic son wanted to make a "baseline video" documenting his first day using iMean to see how quickly he adapted to it. We'll do another next week and a third in two weeks. iMean is an iPad app I developed to help my son communicate, the way we were taught a year and a half ago. Until now we have been using portable computers and cardboard letterboards. The iPad offers the advantages of both, since it saves what has been spelled and offers suggestions as the user is typing, which speeds up communication and fosters reading. iMean is available on the app store. Is there some sort of film that can be used to reduce the glare? I would find that terribly distracting.
