Like most castles in Scotland and Ireland, Slane has been changed a lot since it was originally built. Most of what you can see today isn't much more than 200 years old.

popinfresh - Slane is a real castle. Didn't you see the aerial shots? The Normans built it so we're talking several hundred years old. Obviously they've put some money into making it somewhat modern inside.
