Buddy Rich plays in a beatnik club

Here's a bit of video of Buddy Rich playing a beatnik drummer in a beatnik club...surrounded by beatniks...and an alien. This is from a VERY difficult to find movie that Jerry Lewis did back in 1960 called "Visit To A Small Planet". It's a pretty cool movie with some of the most obscure references of the day. In a later scene, Buddy pantomimes to a recorded drum track. Now THAT's fun to watch.

Yes indeed! We have a winner. Be honest...did you look at the text in the description where I name the movie or did you know this one? If you knew this one, good for you. It's a very rare one. Buddy was a great one and is missed. Loved this scene.
