@xronnoc7x You've probably found the bind option yourself, But for all the people like me, look in the Character menu / Commands Sub Menu /

@JClayCast yeah i go to char menu i have all the tools, then like joint,skin and then it just stops

@xronnoc7x Make sure the Root object of the bones is not a child of the object - did you select everything? Not slightly faded select, but all the bones and the object is fully selected (control click on stuff)

nice tutorial...exactly what i was looking for...one question though...my model has wheels instead of legs...i dont know for sure but i think if i used motors for the wheels they would just go continuously....where if im animating i may want to go...stop...turn...etc.....if anyone has any ideas id appreciate it...ty

@Shadownian I know you can find car rigs out there (never looked into them, so wouldn't know much about them). But you could rig it based on the movements necessary: back wheels, make one bone in the center parallel to the flat surface of the car. Connect it to the two back wheels, and turn it to turn both of them.

Thank you very much!! I didn't know you had to be in a specific mode to use the joint tool. Believe it or not everybody (even Maxon's) tutorials skipped that part.

@justadrum Yeah, the most missed problem with anything in Cinema 4D. I'm glad I covered it clearly.
