Why don't you watch the video called Cristiano Ronaldo shutting Kuyt up. There you can see him using a skill to beat a man.

I don't think those skills are disprespecting the other players. I think its a show for the fans who 'oooooh' and 'ahhh' at his tricks. Alot of his tricks do come off and ends up with him getting a freekick or drawing a challenge from a defender like in this instance.
