  • Are you kidding? She's getting parrallel. Her squats are plenty deep. The padding doesn't affect the lift either, so it can stay. You just have to find something to be critical of, eh? If she doesn't squat just like you do, it must be wrong.

  • There is always someone who thinks they know better. Her squat technique is perfect. She doesn't have to go deeper. As long as she is at least parallel , which from my view she is, its a squat. If she was a powerlifter then yes, she'd have to go deeper then that and personally when I squat, I go as deep as I can which activates more of my hamstrings and glutes. But don't say she needs to go lower or its wrong, because its not.

  • @UltiLifter Women have different hip structure than men, and squats can damage their joints badly. Because of this, women can't get away with squatting as deeply as men.

  • @BobbyQuickdraw No she's not. I'm not sure you know what parallel means in the weightlifting world. For a squat to be parallel the crease of the hips must be even with the top of the knee. You should be able to draw a straight line from those two points. If you pause the video at the bottom of her squat and start with a point on the top of her knees you would have to draw a line going UP to reach her hips. Thus, it is above parallel.

    Not saying she's wrong, just don't say it's parallel.

  • Nice Form, better than some guys I see at the gym with their 2.5 inch range of motion on squats.

    80kg is very impressive for a woman, surely your body weight plus about 30-35 kg.

  • Era jävla runkare. Va i helvete menar ni med hockey-böj och "riktiga " böj? Det skiljer typ 1-2 cm i djup vad gäller dina så kallade "riktiga" böj och det som visas i filmen.
