@Moontanman Possibly all Religions have emergent properties, and I make that point in the Video. However Islam is the most pronounced because of the clothing, the laws that apostacy carries the death penalty, as does converting Muslims to other faiths, plus the effects of Sharia, the fact they believe the Koran to be the infallable Word of God (literal) and I could go on..

People that say that there's no harmful issues going on between religion are totally deluded, because it'a seen everywhere around the world even around our neighbourhood in Ontario or wherever you live in the western world!!

Brilliant video. I think this complements Dawkin's meme ideas. Religions and practices with emergent properties that are favourable to their spreading are the ones we have today. I also notice that conspiracy theorists tend to see a malevolent guiding intention behind things that seem to be emergent effects of complex systems. I guess it's similar with some religious folks who see evidence of intelligent design etc.

Absolutely true, I heard a lot of similar utter about the imposing religion showing off their pied-a-terre everywhere at the women's shelter - where I go sometimes to entertain and give them a yoga and dance session.. they need it to get off the stress off their minds - I heard thousand of stories similar to this here and similar to Nesrine's poem!
