The compound bow is a modern move-on to the recurve bow. Why hate a particular bow type? There is as much skill in shooting a compound bow as a recurve. It is simply a DIFFERENT skill. It doesn't mean its any easier.

Dan Summers of Lynchburg, VA owns Quality Archery Design. I am a machine shop owner and tool maker. I built some prototype tooling for Dan. He wrote me a $10,000 bad check and he also shop lifted close to $4,000 worth of tools and jigs then laughed in my face. The judicial system would do nothing to him becouse he was a Jerry Farwell worshiper. He was above the law. Actually I was the only one charged in the incident. He charged me with phone harassment for calling him about my stolen property.

How can a traditional long bow or recurve be easier than a bow with sights?! and other gadgets.

I prefer a horse and cart to a pickup truck simple, with no modification, normal horse and cart with human basic skill

It is true that us recurve archers have quite a heavier work to do during and before competitions, but I believe compound's battle for gold is quite tough because of the slight difference between each archer's score, both recurve and compund deserve respect because anyone can play soccer or basketball but not everyone is able to shoot an arrow and shoot it well

you can ' win ' more respect when you shoot with a recurve bow. ok some stages are only for compound but...
