Quik video of my surroundings, people are safe and having fun despite the strong winds and rain outside. Ive never been in a hurricane before so its hard for me to measure the magnitude of this storm... they say Category 3, you can judge for yourself. Either way, we're all fed and dry... as of 12:30pm today.

  • Thank you all for your blessings and your sincere concern, the love is very appreciated. Fortunately, my family and the people around us are safe and sound. For all that are arriving today or tomorrow, be assured that your arrival will be excellent, except for maybe a few delays... other than that, everything seems to be getting back to normal here... worst part for us is trying to get the next flight out, we've had our share of Irene's wrath ...all i can do now is to laugh insanely! lol

  • Thanks for posting the video. Me and my family are suppose to arrive in Atlantis on Monday August 29 - Friday Sept 2. It is so sad to see this video. Thanks for posting It and please keep us updated.

I live in Vega Alta Puerto Rico. Believe me, this hurricane is no joke. At least when it passed trough our Island it was ver close to Category 1. Winds were between 65-75mph. While Irene was here there wasn't much trouble, but when Irene was at Haiti and Dominican Republic the rain it kept pour

  • @AlexTEK2 ill definately keep you posted :) i hope it all clears up by the time you get here. People here are quick, looks like they brought the head peoples from the states to help organize too. Theyre doing an excellent job taking care of us.. should be back to normal by this evening, into tomorrow...

  • We Bahamains are not scared of hurricanes because they happen all the time.

But in this case, we had a hurricane that impacted the entire bahamas so it was alittle scarey. Especailly when Nassau had 3 tornadoes back in June. Strange weather we're having
