To the criticizers, note that I am only 13 years old, so the time to criticize, now is NOT the time, just wait until I'm a real chef, but I am only at the starting line of the video recipe business.
Hey! Welcome to the second episode, a new and improved version!
The Written ingredients:
2-3 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon minced ginger root
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon cayenne or red pepper flakes (use less if you don't like it spicy)
4 green onions, sliced (1 cup)
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (if you have it, you can add it in the beginning, you dont have to, it is optional)

ORANGE SAUCE
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 of an orange juice
8 tablespoons brown sugar (half cup)
8 tablespoons white vinegar (half cup)
Orange zest from 1 orange
Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok over high heat. Add minced ginger and garlic, stirring about 30 seconds. Add chicken to wok and cook.

Next add the dried red chiles and chopped green onion. Saute again, then pour in the rice wine.

Add orange sauce to wok and stir well.

Make a slurry with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water until smooth. Add to wok and stir until sauce thickens. Before serving, stir in sesame oil and grated orange zest.

  • do you know if i could replace something else for white wine vinegar?? will just regular vinegar work?? no... i think it'll be too sour

  • either way their both really sour. you could TRY to use orange juice, tell me how it turns out.

  • Did you get a new stove?

Nice video, your editing and following-up on comments is great. 5-*****

  • Oh no, this was at my brothers house.

  • what's the temp on the burner when you throw in the garlic/ginger and chicken?

  • I guess I forgot to say, but I added a annotation saying it was on HIGH.

  • It looks delicious!! MinhSa is right, take out is quite expensive and sometimes greasy, I bet I could cook this thing up and feed the whole family for a lot less! Thanks Minhsa! Theres some feedback on the mic, try using a stand alone mic~

  • Great job! :D Only one small critique (not too harsh, don't yell at me yet!) - if you can, try to avoid mumbling (you only did it like once or twice, no biggie), that way we can hear everything nice and clearly! :)
