This is the same setup as in the Power Mad clip two 3" magnets on a brass axle spun by a standard SSG circuit powered by a 12v battery charging into another 12v..As these magnets throw a field that affects my tv set from 4" , I was curious to see what kind of power could be harvested that would normally go to waste.. There is a newman type coil wrapped around the pvc (400 turns), a small coil from a vent fan (? turns) inside the pvc, and a pair of coils from microwave fans wired in series ( these are the ones wrapped in blue tape). in this clip only the pair is connected. the coils output to a 1 farad cap . this pair typically produced 24-25 v at my 213 rpm but one evening began to output 75-100v.. I switched meters to make sure the meter's sample rate wasn't just sync-ing with the pulse.. I measured 38ma. I was able to duplicate the result only once.. I think there was a resonance between the fields in the newman coil and the coil pair that may explain the unusual outut. This has made me redesign my new setup to allow adjustment in the positioning of my pto coils. Some wonderful things have been stumbled upon when examining unknown territories.. never stop "messing around"
