I think that Thai Airways would like to use an even bigger bird on the Bangkok- Phuket run, if they could find an aircraft capable of using Phuket that is.
The 747's are packed almost every trip.

why a 747-400.on a short flight for. dont you stop in bkk first.and then fly a smaller plane like an 737.800. or an a320-321, or another smaller airline like air asia, or thia airways smaller planes.great vid .

Well in Thailand you fly with Thai Airways with a B747 even for 1 hour flight ;-)
