12X6 Lionel Fastrack Layout

A 1947 Post War Lionel, 2025, gives us a tour of the early stages of my 12X6 Fastrack layout. I'm using 2 revised CW-80's with a "G" on the bottom so the black leads are common. Indoor / outdoor carpet is covering Celotex glued to plywood to help with track noise, and the track is not fastened down, nor does it move.

is this a figure 8 layout with branchoffs?

@stretchnc54 It's a stretched figure 8 for the inner main line interconnected with an outer main line. There are some sidings in the the inner main line. Look at my other videos to see more of the layout from above.

thank you, ive recently got my first set of "O" Gauge, and already have a pretty good size platform made up, as time goes on ide like to be able to run more then one engine so i was looking ahead of time to see what ill need to be doing for transformers or the fancy TMCC controlers.

its realy easy you just need a train that is compatiabe with it and hooking it up is also simple.
