what about falling through pincha mayurasana?
-
I never do the roll, always do the bridge and have always been fine. Just get your feet down first.
-
oh my god! i tried this but in the last moment.. I can't fall.. I dont feel capable!! I feel fear!! Can anyone help me?
thanks!!!
-
thanks.. that was quite inspiring!
-
Honestly, that falling stuff looks terrifying!
-
Well if that's the case then they are not handstands or headstands, they are wall stands aren't they ?
-
"Just don't fall" is not an actionable piece of advice. What can a person do with that?
-
Handstand or headstand off the wall are not poses for beginners.

how about handstand forward roll? Is it better way to fall forward than bridge.. (I have heard about bridge that it can hurt your back)
So can I do "falling trough headstand" to falling trough handstand on same way like rolling. hmph?=/ I hope u got it :D

@eakemppu Go for the handstand forward roll if you can pull it off, but it's a lot of mass moving very fast and you have to make a smooth contact with your upper spine which is going to require a lot of upper body control and strength. I'd say it's a more dangerous move than the fall into bridge.

I've been teaching people safe falling for many years in martial arts classes. This is really excellent instructional material!
One extra note is to breathe out from the belly as you fall, which helps relaxation and reduces the chance of being jarred or winded.

Great point, I never thought about it but that makes a lot of sense.
