The least friendly city you've ever lived in? Either you've not lived in London or you have a cockney accent. If someone slagged off my city / accent and they sounded like Bianca Jackson, I'd be annoyed too.

Birmingham has the best tasting tap water in the UK.
Your Kettle / Iron won't get clogged with lime scale.
When you make a cup of tea, you won't see scum at the top.
No £8 / £10 congestion charge just to use car.
Image ? Skyline? It may not be Manhattan, but tell me, which city can even claim to have a sky line as good as Manhattan?
So please stop comparing Birmingham with Stabdon or Gunshotchester.
