great speed run!!! xD

in fighter mode you get more defense and strength but less intelligence

Yep, notice how this is listed as "Speed Run as Fighter." There are 5 modes to this game: VampireKiller (default), Magician (1 game completion), Fighter (2 completions), Shooter (3 completions), and Thief (4 completions). Magician starts with all DSS cards but lower STR/HP, Fighter can't use DSS but has higher STR/HP, Shooter uses half hearts per special weapon and they do more damage, and Thief has low stats but very high Luck.

no DSS.... He is in Fighter mode... With fighter, you get higher STR, DEF and HP, without DSS

Great Speed Run. =)
Could someone tell me what cards he is using for the final fight with Dracula? I am currently stuck on him, and I know I am a higher level than this guy, but how does he take such little damage and give such large amounts of damage?

I dunno, Circle of the Moon has a different feel than the others... it would be very hard to fit a merchant in IMO especially considering you don't start at the entrance like almost every other Castlevania.

lol yeah, dss cards are hard to find, just spend like 1/2 hour working on each fo the bosses areas and eventually the cards will drop, try to match the cards power to what ur killing, like dark armor=pluto card

just an idea, but i think it would be kick ass if they remade this game for the DS. think about it better graphics and mabey they can add a store in the game, that way you dont have to kill monsters over and over again to get potions and armor. just a thoght :)
