The song was written by Ray Winkler and John Hathcock, and had been a Country chart #2 for Jim Reeves in 1963.

welcome to my world was an invitation by elvis to share an hour with hi on stage. he lived to perform he was THE CLEANEST ENTERTAINER ON STAGE as opposed to those weirdos that relied on disgusting gimicks. cstanchik

Just had to come back and listen again just one more time from my heart to his. I feel the same way even today, as I did yesterday when he still lived. This old world has grown older while he stands frozen in time.Within this heart of mine. Thanks anne Hugs Too many stars to count.Beautiful
