Oh, she realized that smoking is bad. I thought people back then didn't realize, that's why so many people smoked. Why didn't she stop then? BECAUSE SHE'S TALLULAH BANKHEAD!

Why didn't she have a Southern accent?

Glad to see this back on youtube as well. Would LOVE to see the complete interview.. can't find it any place. And it was not included in the 3 disk DVD PTP set. The powers that be really need to release another disk set.. so many other great interviews! The same can be said for whomever released The Dick Cavett Show.

"PERSON TO PERSON" {"It's all live- there is no film"} was on every Friday night at 10:30pm(et) on CBS from 1953 through 1960. Ed Murrow was the original host, turning his chair over to Charles Collingwood when he took his "sabbatical" in 1959. The idea was to interview two "newsworthy" guests in each telecast- LIVE- in different parts of the country. Anyone who was "famous" in movies, television, radio, music, politics, science, and the humanities were eventually "visited" by Murrow.
Didn't she had a sexuell relationship to Billie Holiday?
