Generic All-Purpose Transformers AMV - From 1984 to 2008

So it's a goofy version of the Transformers theme -- I remember it came out in advance of the movie, but forget who sings it -- and no, it's not the one by Mutemath that's on the movie soundtrack. And sure, a lot of the clips are way overused in other Transformers AMVs -- heck, that's where I GOT all the clips here from, other AMVs and clips of Transformers cartoons on the YouTube. But I think this hits most of the bases of the franchise so far in its twenty-four year history, unlike so many of your G1 or Beast Wars or Armada-fixated videos, in just over two minutes. If I had another minute, maybe I even would have gotten in Cybertron/Galaxy Force and Beast Machines. Anyway, this is just where my head has been the past two weeks, all Transformers all the time. I hope you enjoy it. Transformers belongs to Hasbro, like you didn't know that.

@nsragnarok The head of Unicron appearing from an oh-so-80s green grid and the cassette-bot Ratbat flying through his shattered eye is the very first shot from the opening theme of the third season of the original Transformers cartoon, from way back in the fall of 1986.

1:12 - Beast Wars Neo, the second Beast Wars anime series (1999). That's a clip of the show's Maximal leader, Big Convoy, who turns into a mammoth, putting his Matrix into his big gun and turning it into the Matrix Buster.

1:46 - Transformers Victory, the third TF anime (1989). That's the show's Autobot leader, Star Saber, from the very beginning of the first episode, where he strikes down a nasty gang of Decepticon goons to the tune of a "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" soundalike riff.
