It's been a little while since I first posted the sneak peek of the Death Warrior kit that was to be featured in an upcoming article of KitBuilders Magazine, but I had to wait until the mag was out to show the full piece. Well, issue #62 is out and the article written by Joe Dunaway on the build-up of this kit is outstanding! Here's my review of the kit seen in the article with lots of closeups in HD and I invite you to come check out http://www.predatorstuff.com for 60 new photos of this piece, new desktop wallpapers and a full written review.

Enjoy!
Dan

  • Question? Are you saying that all the Narin Predator kits on ebay are all recast? What color would a narin predator recast look like?I'm told that he sculpts these kits and sends them off to a producer to be recasted for them to sell it.Where did you purchase your kits from? The sellers I know live in Thailand and is that where Narin is from?

  • @silverado2004 Pretty much every kit you see on eBay is a recast, especially if it's from Thailand. Narin does not sell on eBay. Also, the company that originally produced all of Narin's non-direct releases closed down, so they are no longer produced. So all you see are recasts now. All of Narin's non directs were comissioned pieces by myself and a couple other guys but we all went through the same facility and it's out of business. Now Narin only sells direct releases.

  • @silverado2004 My kits all come from Narin directly or Predastore which Narin sculpts for.

  • I dont get whats wrong with recasts, at the end of the day they look identical to what thier racasted off, you build, paint and own a model for its looks, not for its chemical composition or if it has a word on it saying "official" or not.

  • @dEsSiCaTa Because you are ripping off the artist.. it costs a fortune in time and materials to develop and complete a sculpt, then you have some assclown just rip it off and recast for $50 in materials. It's a disgusting practise... also if you're in to the looks, each generation of a recast loses details from the original, plus the crappy material used on a recast is often hard as nails and difficult to work with... Don't support recasts, EVER.

  • Couldn't find the wallpapers on Predatorstuff, awesome videos though, I subscribed, love the site too.

  • You need to go to the actual review of this piece and at the bottom you will find all the wallpapers :)

  • SICK sculpt, Narin is the best! but

    a. How do you get one and is it painted?

and b. How much would one of these figs cost?

  • Hellow! I am Japanese Predator Sculpter kmfelder. Narin's Kit Very Very good!

  • One more thing:

I understand that having a recast hurts the hobby BUT it also hurts the hobby when there is not enough kits to go around and only a select few have access to them.Maybe there would not be a problem with those who recast if there was a supply and demand cause there are alot more people who love Predator then just yourself and a few others.Nuff Said. :0)

  • I see.So how would someone get a direct Narin release? How could I get one of Narins kits?I do understand it hurts the hobby by getting a recast but at the same time what if someone wants the kit and it's no longer produced or on the market?See where I'm getting at?What would you recommend?I mean, really.Does it make any sense to just produce a limited release when you have alot of folks who want it?That's the one thing I never understood about certain releases.

  • @Fakenrite

I'm curious??Is every Narin Predator kit on ebay a recast??

  • would you consider selling it?

  • Hi i wanna customise my alien fig, where can i get paint for the alien blood colour?
