Haha silly, thats scotland the brave, not praise to the man... Close :) excellent piping man! Keep at it!!
-
there are 2 sets of words to this beloved old tune- the original and Praise to the man, so if they listed it as Praise to the man that he chose to play then why so much rhetoric in the posts? WELL DONE! a bit fast but very very wonderful, I hope to see you in Nauvoo playing one day!

@ScienceReasonBelief * in a scottish accent
Hrmm I hear praise to the Man lyrics in my Noggin ye Highland Heffer backside cleaner!
-
Doubtful, since he's not playing "Praise to the Man". He's playing "Scotland the Brave".
-
Scotland the Brave was written long before "Praise to the Man"...
-
This is Scotland the brave. It was adapted later for the hymn " Praise to the Man ". The text was written by William W. Phelps after the Martyrdom of Joseph Smith. Although it is adapted to be the tune of " Praise to the man", it is an old Scottish folk tune.

The wild burros of the Arizona desert will kick you in the head, if you start playing the bagpipes, in front of them, out there!
-
I wonder which "mormon" composer can take credit, for that tune?
