  • ... but why do you need a Fire Pokémon at this stage of the game? The only Pokémon I can think of that Ponyta would be needed for is Blue's Venusaur. Nice choice though, interesting. :)

  • @KurtMcFry - Great point, I don't know, I just felt the need to have a fire type on my team, even though it won't see too much action from now until the end of the game. And thanks for clarification on the text with the Raichu trade, very interesting! :)

  • I actually had my Togepi use Metronome in Platinum once. Guess what move it chose? Roar of Time. Guess how much damage it did to my opponent. 5 HP. Reaction: ...Oh, FFFFFF- Btw, love the guy's dialogue after the trade. "It went and evolved! :D" ...But it was already fully evolved...

  • aha-lets speak to this machine. lol

  • i got lvl 70 in black!

  • the cavern is containing mewtwo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • put articuno and zapdos on your team

  • About time you got a 6th team member lol. I like to get my fire type early on too because in my opinion I believe a fire type is must have for any team. When making my team I always make sure to have a fire, water, ground (love the move earthquake) and flying type. The last two slots are for whatever I think will fit and be decent. The problem with finding a decent fire type is there arent soooooo many choices like there is for water types. Every Pokemon game has that problem

  • pdwinall great vid but ponyta can learn either flamethrower or fire blast at lvl.38

  • In the original Japanese Blue version the trade was Graveler for Kadabra, and they didn't bother changing the text. ^^
