If it was affordable I think I'd buy one just to tease the other cats.

I have this. :3 Because I can't get a real cat, sadly.

its not the fact that they are replacing cats.. or any other animal at that.
Its the fact that some families cant afford to buy/feed/take care of a real living animal. so they buy their children these toyz to make them feel as if they have a pet.

and some are allergic to furs and stuff like that and we don't have to kill animals to

It's not about not being able to afford them
we just don't really have space
and a lot of people don't even like cats in japan
and those of us who have dogs usually only keep them inside if they are small dogs.. big dogs live outside.
I had toy dogs as a kid, doesn't mean i was replacing a dog. i think it's stupid for people to be freaking out because dont they have plush animals too?
and japan is making more robots that can help save the world than any other country. stop complaining.
