  • Fault.

  • In case anyone is confused, when you serve, it's illegal to swing your racquet through the imaginary planes that extend upwards from the lines that run perpendicular to the front wall. More specifically, the rule only applies to hard serves that stay close to the side wall. (AKA drive serves down the line)

For righties, that means you can't stand too close to the right wall when you serve down the line. Lefties, look out for the left wall.

  • This guy is such a tool lol

  • What drives someone to complain on facebook?

  • That serve was short, dude.

  • Where are your glasses? I wouldn't drive serve down the line without them

  • 4 seconds.....LOLOLOLOL...looks like a doctor's exam for your prostate? LOLOLOL

  • @gweller dude, they are not missing the point. they just don't wanna learn anything because they think they are so much better.

  • the video should be renamed "Mechanics of Drive Serve" -- to satisfy all of the people complaining about the legality of this guy's serve

  • bad serve though, it didnt cross the line

  • He is demonstrating an illegal serve. The head of the racquet goes way over the 2nd line from the wall. That line cannot be crossed by the racquet at all is you are driving the ball down the line as he did. That is the sole purpose of that line so that servers have to stand back a little and not intentionally screen the ball on drive serves
