Brian Fodera had a very short stay in the hotseat on January 20, 2000 (the show after Dan Blonsky won $1,000,000) and became the second person on the American WWTBAM to leave with nothing.

For those who don't know, the term "llama" came from Robby Roseman, who was a contestant on WWTBAM in August of 1999. He was the first contestant on the show to leave with nothing. His question:

"Hannibal crossed the Alps using what animals?"

A. Rhinoceri
B. Elephants
C. Llamas
D. Chihuahuas

He used a 50/50, then guessed C, hence the term "llama" or "llama out". The answer was B, by the way. Robby would eventually bounce back, taking home nearly $500,000 by finishing 23rd in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event.

And don't feel bad for Brian either, he would eventually come back and win $16,000 on a WWTBAM Zero Dollar Winners show on May 20, 2001. Not as much as ol' Robby won in poker, but he redeemed himself nonetheless. :)

  • Regis barely shows any sympathy compared to Meredith on $0 winners.

  • Little Jack Horner

    Sat in a corner

    Eating his Christmas pie

    He stuck in his thumb

    And pulled out a blackbird

And said "What a good boy am I!"

  • Henry Harrison served the shortest because he DIED AS PRESIDENT!

  • Even if you don't know the nursery rhyme what else would you pull out from a fucking pie?

  • @HuggabugClubFan That was Steve Fayne, and it was the $500 question.

  • It's pretty hard for a $100 question. I didn't know who Hornel was when first seeing this. This rhyme is obscure compare to Jack and Jill. If any non-English speaker or non-Christian know this.

Plus, the Hannibal question is probably the hardest $100 ever given. That question was used in Cash Cab at least twice.

  • He deserves it.

  • @SonicXisnow2009 whats sad is the contestant thought this thru, others jus rush the 1st question

  • "hey brian, you lose! you get nothing!"

  • @OSHUNLIDE yeah but they're aren't hard to figure out...lol

  • @Greeneagle86 nursery rhymes aren't known to be logical, lol..
