Newly discovered tsunami deposits suggest the Japanese coastline was hammered by a series of massive waves thousands of years ago. The finding adds to growing evidence that the region is regularly pounded by killer waves, and could help in planning for future inundations.

"Newly discovered tsunami deposits suggest the Japanese coastline was hammered by a series of massive waves thousands of years ago." D'oh? Did some government pay for this 'discovery'? The whole Japanese island chain is a product of those shifting plates & they are not geologically peaceful. Even the ancient Japanese left stone markers that said: Don't build below this point. After centuries, however, people ignore them.
This is a horrible tragedy. In humans v. planet, Earth wins every time.

Crap resolution. Crap sound. If you're going to record your TV with your video cam, get a tripod. So frustrating that KTX300 is only interested in the catastrophic scenes.
