Fitzgerald still make good quality stuff some new fittings use thin metal and push fit covers real rubbish, suppose we will have to change to high freq. ballasts and new thin tubes.
@migette1 Yeah the quality of their stuff is a lot better than most other manufacturers, some of their designs remained almost unchanged for 30 years!
A ban should to be coming into force next year to stop the manufacture and importing of fluorescent fittings with magnetic gear. I don't don't know what we're going to do though! High frequency ballasts seem like a good idea at first but even the best ballasts only last about 50,000 to 100,000 hours so you have to keep replacing them!

@scivids1999 Thanks, it's a Fujifilm FinePix S5700 apparently. I need to get a new one really as it makes a racket trying to focus all the time.
