@ArryandElle You are absolutely right. The horses themselves are daredevils. They aren't forced to do anything, only encouraged. Over years of schooling many horses a few are picked for this type of event because they choose to do it. They are willing and get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

I used to love doing this with my horse!But one time she got her legs in the fence after a bad take off.we both almost went down.I jumped off to make sure that she was okay(she took down the whole jump)she was fine but it scared her quite a bit.Every time i think about that moment i thank god she wasn't badly hurt!since then i have been much more careful and i think that these riders should think to themselves the next time they try and do this what if my horse gets hurt? What will i do then?

for those who think this is horrible to the horse. ITS NOT. It takes serious trust and courage in the horse and rider together. and only the horses that LOVE to jump would even attempt to go over it. The horses that take this jump on, do it for a living because they love it. I know because I have a mare that is like that. She lives to jump, even though we don't do it often, when she's out in the pasture, she'll jump over the creek and any thing big in her way...

this is sooo dangerous, and shows a blatant disrespect for the amazing animal they're riding. they should be ashamed of themselves. a great way to ruin a wonderful horse's career.

this is not even jumping !!!! come on you know how hard it is on them to land on there two front legs like that! >:( thats why all of them trip and almost fall when they come over those jumps! think about your horse not a stupid record!
