  • Elegant as only Ambrose could be. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Yes, Ambrose was absolutely unique. He had two souls: one was hot jazzy & temperamental and second - refined, most restrained in the finest arrangements and clear as a crystal.

  • It's a beautiful upload - Grzegorz - everything - the vocals, the artwork - the arrangement - all exquisite!

  • Thank you Lana! That tune is really hearbreaking. There are in YT a few renditions of the "Boulevard..." but this one seems to me, perhaps, the most sophisticated

  • what a great arrangement....but then, it's ambrose. wonderful! thank you.

  • Thank you, and what to add to your words? Well... more Ambrose, please!

  • Ammy had that same 'thing' that Whiteman had. A large very elegant and suave band, but also lots of room for the best jazz solos. And he paid better than any European band leader at the time. So his members stayed with him and hardly recorded outside of the band. It just wasn't necessary.

  • wonderful tango. great selection of slides. Got a real pleasure! thanks a lot!

  • To My Little Princess

  • This is just FANTASTIC!!! There are several versions of this song I love, But this version and Connie Boswell`s version I LOVE! This one is more peppy & Connie`s is one You don`t want to listen to if You are contemplating suicide, It is one of the most Bittersweet and sad hopeless versions I`ve heard! I don`t know why I love it so much! But I do.

  • Wonderful!

  • Thanks for the opportunity to hear the way it was. Wonderful and intereting.

  • Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

  • Heartfelt version and, oh, all these gloomy people in the video make me so sad until I hear the phrase "gigolo and gigolette" which makes me smile a bit.

  • Was drawn in by that...superb!
