It's less that people who live in colder climates own the proper clothing for being outside and more that we're just used to it. I grew up in a place where it snowed 18ft each winter and plenty of us just wore runners, jeans, and hoodies outside.

I know you guys find them bundling up ridiculous but we have to take into consideration that she (as well as me and anyone who lives in California or in a very warm climate) isn't used to extreme cold temperatures! :(
