Chiang Mai - March 2005. Thailand's 2nd largest city Chiang Mai is the most famous place to visit for real culture, enjoy elephant riding, bamboo riding, trekking and other sightseeing ares in this video of Chiang Mai, Thailand
Hi, so its been a 2 year delay! Whoops. The music I bought in Chiang Mai while I was there. I can't remember the title now, but when I return to England, I'll try to remember to find it and let you know.
I love chiang mai it is the best part of Thailand well away from the sleaze of Pattaya and phuket. The people are the warmest and friendliest you will ever meet. The real Thailand
The music on this video was bought in Chiang Mai on a CD from a local who made music. He was also playing the music at the weekend market. The bamboo rafting, elephant ride, waterfall and trekking was about 700 or 800 baht per person. There was a place near the Montri Hotel next to 7/11 where we got our tickets. Hope that helps you during March! Enjoy. PS. I am living in Bangkok now, if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
What a superb film - I went to Chaing Mai last year as part of an organised tour, but am going back in March with my children and doing it our own way ! Was really pleased to see the bamboo rafting on the film as we didn't do that last time and really want to do it in March - will be staying at the Baan Deva Montra - thanks so much for posting (beautiful music - what is it ?)

Very respectful and dignified piece. It showed a reverence for Thailand and its people. I enjoyed it very much and thank you for posting it.
