Crit on my EQ would be lovely!
So this is my future hunter right here. pretty amazing huh? for me only ever having two lessons? yeah.. his trot is looking pretty decent now but his canter needs so much work -_- Love my little hunter My EQ still has a long way to go.

SO we showed on the 10th of july at an open show. I forgot my camera T_T but we placed 2nd out of 10! so i was so happy in our other class we broke gait so we didn't place but he was awesome.

So show on Aug 6 & Fair on Aug 25th! Hopefully i'll film again to show you guys my progress? also would you like a link to my facebook? if so message me and I'll accept you as a friend! :D but seriously..

  • Also keep your hands about 2 inches off his neck and about 4 inches apart. It takes practice but you'll get it soon!!

  • @4TheLoveOfPoniesX Thanks! Im working on it~

  • you may also want to keep your heels down just a bit more!

  • @heidihoney1 ok will do! Thanks!

  • He's looking lovely!(: I would suggest really sitting back into your saddle and pulling your shoulders back and arching your back. when in the canter dont throw your hands up by his neck, bring them down near his withers and have a bit of a bend in your eblows and sit up tall and deep into your saddle. really use your legs to keep him going. but you're doing really well!(:

  • @icehorsevantaja thanks so much! I'll try and work on that!

  • Keep your toes pointing forward, your fingers closed with your thumbs ontop, your leg a little behind the girth, and when you want to turn, pull back slightly, not out. You shouldn't have to pull your hand back further than your ribs but if you do then you don't have enough contact/ your reins are too long, which they look. just some tips hope I helped.

  • @lukelover6996 sure! and collect him a bit more maybe!

  • @lukelover6996 sure!

  • @sadtears2007 thanks!
