Greetings...
Great hike our troop tackled back in 2007. Hightlight was a 6:00am sprint (no packs) to the top of Half Dome (Day 6) - which we had all to ourselves for about an hour. Easy stretch by comparrison to the other 100+ miles we've completed on the JMT (southbound) in 2008 & 2009. One final push (100 miler) next summer for the troop to complete the JMT on top of Whitney. I have seen a lot of videos of backpacking in yosemite and by far this one is one of the best. The scenery is great. Some friends and i want to go backpacking in june of 09, but we dont know which trail to take or were to go. What Trail did you guys take? How many days? Were did you start? Is it a loop (meaning it takes you to were to started in the end)? It would be great if you answer back, thanks. And once again i love the slide show video?
