  • REME = top 10% of british army.

You gotta love all the banter between regiments. I erved as a vm in the reme for 8 years. worked with the Angle irons, top bunch, 1 D & D, best posting ever, big up d support close recce boys. 35 eng reg, top fellas, and last of all 2Sig regmt. that made me leave the army.

  • @swingfire0011 yes the ones without education lets switch my son lets see if you can mend a challenger 2 battle tank when an ied rips the tracks off and shreds the mechanics underneath:) (by all means of course i joke RE and REME get on fine together)

  • Who are all the morons here with foul mouths? Definitely not REME , but thick as two short planks idiots.

  • My Corp , way back.

  • From an ex-Para,

REME = Ruination of Every Maiden Eventually

  • Royal Engineers Minus Education

  • Anybody would kn ow why the march ends with a cover of French song "Auprès de ma Blonde"? (Sorry, I don't know whatever title your brits might know it by).

  • Trust the Fooking REME to be photographed (from 0:19 to the end) out of step!

The only ones who appears to have any military bearing is the Captain and front

    middle file!

  • Arthur Sheather . . .R.E.M.E.....8th Army..1942-1946..North Africa and Italy.

Private Arthur Sheather 2000468 has been given permission to fall out of parade.

    20th May 2011.Age 91.

Now he is off to see his Nellie down the old Portabello Rd.

    R.I.P,a true English gentleman.

  • Just so a load of humourless cunts can get things into perspective , I served in the REME for 6 years, many years ago. The remark I made was totally tongue-in-cheek. If I have caused offence to members of my old corps who are serving in Afganistan or other hotspots through my ignorance or callusness I am truly sorry!
