All music derives from other music before it. Inspiration is a beautiful thing. Personally, I don't spend much time decoding the origins of songs. I either like the song, or I don't. Regardless of whether a riff or chord progression was taken from somewhere else. I digress... Peace and Love to All in 2011 - and long live Neil Young!

Like most prolific artists, Neil cannibalizes his own work even more than he does that of others.

The bridge at 1:12 would later become the basis of 1991/1992's "Harvest Moon".

And of course Neil would later drag out Trans' "Transformer Man" for his Feb. 1993 MTV Unplugged appearance (and album) which would showcase a number of songs from the Harvest Moon album as well as a bit of a career retrospective of sorts.
