im a newbie in th eMT world...due to scarcity of nursing jobs in our country....MT is the best job for me...and you are right...most american doctorss suck in dictating...and they really dont spell right...it is making me more difficult to research with the ones he spelled out
this job sounds stressful but then again I;m going to be a nurse and I;m sure that'l be even more stressful. lol for a trancrptionist typist job at my county, they're requiring only a certificate in medical terminology so I'm researching/ thanks
In my internship this doctor was like ''number 1- diabetes mellitus and he went on to number 4 and he was like ''number...number whatever the heck his problem is'' LOL
Thanks for the laugher... I can't wait to hear some crazy stuff from these doctors.
Thanks for that! I'm in school to be an MT and I've been an MA for 7 years now. You'd be surprised to actually see what the docs are doing while dictating!

hi all.
One MT transcribed the sentence "The patient was prepped and draped." as "The patient was prepped and raped." Ha Ha Ha.

OMG. Love it! After 19 years in this business, I'm still amazed at the things these doctors do while dictating. Priceless! I'm subscribing for sure!

HAHA! That's hilarious about the cough drop!
I'll be a certified MT in about 2 weeks!

"Make it up"......wow. Never heard that one, but I've certainly heard my fair share of doctor faux pas.
