An animated response to David Toop's argument/research regarding the ability of sound to evoke the inner self, recollections or 'other' places. (from his book "Haunted Weather: Music Silence & Weather".)
I respond to Toop by arguing that silence can also evoke memory, that silence can also be considered 'sound' and bears such evocative qualities. I do this through a stopmotion monologue.
This is my final response to chosen academic/media-based texts for my multimedia production course this semester.
Special thanks to Bonnie Fan who I borrowed audio from to remix and include in this composition.

Interesting video. I found the part where you were dreaming about your own funeral interesting. Wanna hear something strange about myself. Sometimes I randomly dream not about my own funeral but funerals of other people...morbid, sorry for the odd downer. Not my intention. Something about expressing extreme grief is eventually rejuvenating.
