@mahasw777 Thanks for this comment as well. Our daughter is the soloist singing in Praise You. She absolutely loved the tour and Dr. Klein. you are lucky to have her direction in your church choir.

I do not plan to sell DVDs. There will be an "official" DVD from SOA in due course.

However, I will post some more of the concert. in the future.

We posted this video and our daughter is the one singing with your brother playing the picolo, we sat with your parents. It was great meeting them and we think your brother is AWESOME

Our son toured with SOA this summer and we had the good fortune to see them perform in Germany. What an incredible experience for a very gifted group!

@jdfloyd1995 To be Honest, SOA was not TExas All state callibur, but the experience was way better! I made the Texas All sTate band a couple of times and got 2nd in the state in 2011 on Clarinet 5a! look me up! CARLOS AGUIRRE.!

and well to be honest i would have preferred to have gone more times to SOA than all state! the experience was so unforgivable!!!!

@samknechten Yes i went to SOA in 2011! it was amazing and it was so worth the money! the worst thing about the trip was the goodbyes! it was incredibly painful!!!!! it still hurts just thinking about that last day! :( i would highly reccomend you go!

I love her! She just directed the District 8 of Virginia High School Choir! I was in it and she was so nice.

@samknechten Well I was accepted to be in it because I had made All State. They said that I did not need to audition for placement but just for chair order. I think that I amy wait a year to do this trip, because I doubt that I can earn the $6,000 for the trip. Thank you for your feedback though.

I was in SOA 2010. I tried out when I was a freshman and made it! I unfortunately didn't make the state band that year,but don't let that make you think they weren't amazing musicians.It's really a mix of top players from states and people like me, who aren't AMAZING, but I was still able to pull my weight. I'd say try out even if you think you have zero chance of making it. I feel like he picks on personality and potential more than pure ability.But totally do it! you'll love it!

I'm currently contemplating trying out for this. I have made the Texas All State band this year as a sophmore but I do not know if I will still be good enough to make this band. Can someone help me by telling me the caliber of musicians that try out?

Ah I miss playing this song! The piccolo part was so much fun! I loved every moment of this song and got chills Everytime we played it :)

my son had the wonderful experience of traveling and performing with the group, what an amazing job they did!!! The talent of being together for 3 days and to sound as they did.....speechless! We love you Luke and are very proud of you<3

We sang this in my choir called the New Generation Singers and we loved it! I hope to sing it again this year. =)
