Dont bother. It was probably the start of the country starting to hate Scousers!
All by the efforts of a lot of non-Liverpool shite actors. Had nothing on Bread though, the bbc's biggest(Goebbels standard) abuse of Liverpool. How did the government get away with stopping us having our own tv presence, anyway.

Ahh...I remember this well as a young boy then. My family and I used to watch it and the other 'classics' such as 'Bread' etc. Where DID the years go?!!

Ive never watched these and im from Liverpool. Granted they are before my time since i wasnt born till 1988 but i love other comedy from the 70s. I defo defo have to buy all these. I know i will love them.

@Caff68 Yes the remake annoyed me,continuity went out the window.
Carol was totally ignored,Carol's Mother and Brothert became Beryl's family ,with the surname changed to Hennessey instead of Boswell.
Beryl also stated she lived with Sandra til 78,it was Carol who did that,Beryl married in 73 and moved out.
