We bought about 10 RAW acres 3 years ago, and are still having to haul in water. I have an online business (running really good BEFORE moving) the move almost killed it, and now after 3 years I'm finally coming back. Homesteading is HARD, but rewarding work. It is REALLY not as easy as most think it is, you have to be generally pretty healthy to do the work, because training/chasing animals WILL be on your list of things to do (wild or domestic) Best wishes in your endeavers!
