This is the Black Dwarf. The idea was to squeeze as many terabytes possible into a case no bigger than a shoebox. The case was built entirely from scratch and you can find the full description at:

  • Hi Will,

Sorry for my english (I'm from Ukraine).

During the creation of the case you used electric welding. Could not tell you more about it (type, method of welding etc.)?

    Thanks

  • @peacemaker0alex Thats a mig welder. Wire feed with flux core wire. This is great because I'm just working in my garage, so all I needed was the standard 115v socket and no gas canisters required.

  • is that a sas or sata drive?

  • @lapulapu12345 Those are Sata Drives. I used a couple of SAS to 4xSata fan out cables.

  • So, what motherboard did you use? Processor? Power supply?

  • @imachessnut Full details on the project are available on the website, direct link in the video info.

  • Wish he would do more videos

  • A camera filming a camera? Inception

  • Also, I want your workshop :)

  • Welding with the disks inside? isn't that dangerous? (to damage the disks)

  • @DannyDethPyroManiac

    Yes that too :)

  • @scott93257 If they have a 286 then they probably have a monochrome screen thats like 320x240 and like a 8MB hard drive, so not only will they not be able to watch the video, they wouldn't even be able to store it.

  • you're a genius man!

  • WOW! I really enjoyed watching this!!!

  • Did you buy all those tools

    DAMM!
