I have loved the opening animations since they started three years ago! Sadly, due to legal reasons, it's highly unlikely we'll see the first one see the light of day again unless it's edited. But as one who attended 2008's opening ceremonies just to watch it, it was absolutely amazing! :>

Hmmmm... Given how much hype I've heard about these animations, I wasn't that impressed. I didn't know who any of the people were supposed to be (probably because I've never been to Otakon). I think I would have preferred that they parodied one particular thing rather than cramming a bunch of stuff into it.

That was awesome. It's funny how Star Trek, Star Wars, Star Trek and King Kong made its way into Japanese animation. But it's still great. I'll have to make it next year to see this animation on the big screen.
