easy way to pop a honda ball joint

easy way to pop a honda balljoint without using a pickle fork (pickle forks DAMAGE the BOOT on a balljoint). all you need is a maybe 17 - 18 or 19mm wrench . watch the vid for a idea. i dont take credit for this video. i posted it to help fellow honda owners. allthough i got this vid a long time ago. i wish i knew where so i could give proper credit

yeah the idea is to compress the shock, then stuff a wrench in there so the force of the shock seperates the suspension when it pinches the wrench. and obviously the wrench isnt going to get smooshed or break "or you have some lousy ass tools lol" so it forces it to come out. ive heard of people trying to pry it with a bar and slipping the bar and breaking their knuckles on the concrete. i came close i fucked my hand up but still. pickle forks are fail for hondas.

Thanks for the idea. After hours trying to loose this joint it's finally done in 30s :). So easy. In my 12 yo Civic it was almost welded and finally I had to stand and jump on the brake disc to make it pop out. Thanks again
