I stopped having nightmares around 1978 when I was 15. I'd hear this and relive scenes from various horror movies that seemed to stick in my mind.
But prior to that, this album was their soundtrack. I caught it while it was still fresh, living so near to one of the early FM college radio stations and close to NYC, which played it a lot.
The night Keith Moon died was my last nightmare, for some reason. I just remember waking up and my brother informing me. Strange connection.
