  • @bijtje15 If you understand the design of a crumple zone then you will understand what I'm on about. When this vehicle came to a stop it was because the engine had been pushed into the firewall as it has a an east west v6 engine, notice how the van comes to a sudden stop then rolls backward, this means there was no crumple zone left to absorb the impact.

Crash testing is done at 64 kph, that is where a vehicle is deemed safe enough to drive if the results are good. The barrier is good however!

  • even if there is one book now china auto sure I still would not buy because it comes from China and I support any copy shop

  • @myfeeling4you That's the weirdest thing I ever heared, of course the'd survive

This is better that crashing head on into a real jersey barrier

  • @jjoe90 Oh, you can do better than that.

  • This looks like the best design for guardrail ends. No design is going to make it a smooth crash, but the alternatives are worse. Here the car is slowed as safely and possible, and does not fly or flip over. Well contained.

  • the occupants ,if there were any would have died for sure as the vehicle didn't crumple enough, the barrier did it's job well as designed. I think further research needs to go into this before there is a fatal accident where something was missed

  • Not bad...

  • @doraemon8061 Thank you for your compliment! I am the representative of the manufacturing company of this product, IBH(Impact Black Hole Co., Ltd.) Korea. :)

  • @jjoe90 I like your sense of humor and creativity, but people are not supposed to be standing there. It's dangerous, and this video was recorded under the supervision in a restricted area for a special purpose of testing this product.

  • @lolhahalol2 People are not supposed to be standing there 'cause this crash cushion is installed on the highway or expressway! Unless they have a death wish, no one would want to stand there, I think. :)
