The intent of the video was not to demonstrate any new features of the game. The recording is low quality. However, previous viewers have remarked on the enhanced M1 model (dejawolf is the modeller) and the audio (volcano is the sound engineer). There is further discussion of these enhancements at the community website in the 'we love screenshots' thread of the general discussion forum.

the real T-80 sounds like a MIG.

but in general, the new sounds require that you play at a higher volume than before.

Btw that M1 looks terrific!

It might just be due to the youtube quality and the mix of background music but I find the sfx of the T80 to "weak" - meaning IMO it should be pumped up a bit. Just my 2 cents.
