As much as I really miss Galliano, this collection really got to me. I have to give Kudos to Gayteen for keeping Galliano's Dior alive albeit on a more sombre note. The clothes are beautiful, wearable and very Dior.

I agree with the comments that this collection is much better than the last; however, this collection lacks a "wow" that makes haute couture. Overall, it's a beautiful collection but it lacks this designer's point of view. It seems that Gaytten can't interpret Dior his own way. Galliano can't be replaced. Marc Jacobs would have been interesting -- too bad that appears to be moot now.

@MyCoruba Unfortunately, Bill just can't work with color.If you remember his first couture collection it had terrible color combinations. He realized this and now makes only black and white clothing, or monochromatic.
