Very intelligent. More like an alien than a bug. I had one that kept comming in my house. It was huge. I captured it and put it outside three times and it kept returning to the same spot on my drapes. The third time I'm afraid my cat decided he wasn't comming in anymore.

my last house we moved from used to get them alot in the back yard. even though i hate bugs and they terrify me, i could never let anyone harm one of this guys. i won't pick on up... but they are cool. i think its cause they are so huge its more like a small animal than a bug, they are intelligent and just kinda cool guys. i know some people do keep them as pets. neat video.

I'd love to get into a time machine and go 100 million yrs into the future just to see what they evolve into.

@alleycatalog I once had an encounter with one in the ladies shower at a camping ground. it was challenging me to a fight . I could only imagine what they seem to another insect..
